The owners of the Regent are pleased to be bringing forward proposals to provide a new mixed-use development on the site of The Regent on Beach Street in Deal.

The proposals, which are designed by Kent based masterplanners and conservation architects Clague, include a new 49-seat cinema and café.
We are rebuilding the iconic ‘Art Deco’ front façade on Beach Street to meet current building regulations and match the current structure.
Local groups have accepted this needs to be a mixed use development, so our proposal includes 12 new homes and a public café with outside seating area. Views to and from the Timeball Tower are being preserved.
These proposals will ensure that the iconic ‘Art Deco’ style frontage will continue to grace Beach Street whilst bringing the prominent and currently unused building back into use.
